A well-attended three-day Theta Deut reunion was held March 26-28, 1998. Participants were members of the Classes of 1954-1959.
The resort community of Hilton Head, SC, was the setting; twenty-three brothers, all but one with their wives, took part.
The prime mover in the event was Jack Cronin, '56. who, many months earlier, had begun exchanges of e-mail, US mail and phone contacts to recruit Theta Deut contemporaries for selecting a time and place.
The Hilton Head location was chosen, in no small part, because it is the retirement home of Jane and Joe Carty, '57. Their help was reported to be invaluable in scouting out hotels, assisting in reservations, travel instructions and the like.
Many of the brothers had not seen one another in the 40-45 years since graduation. This photo annex to the Theta Deut Alumni Page is presented for those unable to attend. It's hoped the viewers can be at least "virtual participants" and that the sharing of these pictures may give each a few moments of pleasure and nostalgia.
