At the recent poultry show in Tiverton Mr E W Treadaway Hoare of Musbury House was awarded the vhc (very highly commended I assume) for Wyandottes (a breed of poultry?) . At Barnstaple show his entries in the game (pullet) and silver Wyandotte classes received fourth prizes and that in the silver Wyandotte cockerel class was reserved and he was vhc for a colley dog. At Taunton Show Mr Hoare's entries were vhc in the classes for Silkies and Andalusians and hc for game fouls and silver Wyandottes (stags and pullets).
